The McElwain Company consists of Helen McElwain, Melva Ballesteros, Michelle McElwain, and Jeffrey McElwain, who owns McElwain Insurance. We are members of the National Association of Realtors, National Marketing Institute, Tucson Board of Realtors, Multiple Listing Service - MLS-, and Independent Insurance Agents Association.  Helen and Jeff have the designations of GRI and LUTC, respectively.

We have been actively selling Real Estate in the Tucson Market since 1978. We have owned our own building at 515 N. Tucson Blvd. since 1985 and Jeff has owned the building at 1717 N. Tucson Blvd. since 1992.

The McElwain Company is only small in the number of our agents. This is by choice. Most of our business is referred by satisfied sellers and buyers. We are proud of the personal service which we are able to give to each of our clients. The office is equipped with the MLS computer for MLS service, computer access to the Credit Bureaus, Internet connection with email and our own webpage, complete microfiche records of all the properties in Pima County, computers for both office work and investment analysis of commercial properties, all property management and a fax machine. We own three mobile phones and a car. You want us - you got us.

One of our strengths is that we are skilled in marketing properties. We don't just list, sit back and wait for something to happen.

Our office is central, convenient, and comfortable. Our signs are professionally designed and they are remembered. Our clients are proud to be associated with us.

We are respected in the Real Estate Community as a professional high producing office. Our advertising is consistent, professional and productive. In addition to the normal marketing tools such as MLS, Open Houses, and Realtor tours, we produce flyers, send photos on inquiries, pre-order loan information and title information. The Internet has become an important marketing tool with virtual tours. We walk clients through the processes of negotiation, inspections, loan application, and closings.
